Spring comes early to Cornwall, famous for many years for producing narcissus, our box contains a mixture of varieties often including some heavily scented types such as Soleil d'Or, a multi-headed daffodil which is extremely fragrant. This box is very popular around Christmas time and what could be nicer on a dull Winters day!

The Athenians honoured Carnations by calling them Di - anthos, Flower of Jove, and used the flowers to make wreaths and garlands at their festivals, whence came the word "coronation" from which Carnation is derived. Grown here on the nursery this cottage garden style flower is perfumed and long lasting, making a very pretty display. Varieties such as "pink pearl" a delicate pink to "rosejoy" a cerise shade, will be included making an ideal gift for any occasion or even just to let someone know you are thinking of them. Pinks have now finished for winter - back again in the spring.

Alstroemeria (sometimes known as Peruvian Lily) is our main crop here on the nursery. Grown all year round you can be sure you will not be able to buy a fresher flower anywhere! There is a huge spectrum of colours from deepest ruby to majestic pure white, vibrant yellow, rich tangerine, pretty pinks and many others.
